Terraza 6 sits on the slope of the Alhambra, on a quiet residential street about 10 minutes' walk from the Alhambra ticket office and 5 minutes from the heart of the old Moorish quarter. The apartment sleeps up to 4 guests — one king-size double bedroom and a sofa bed — and is a private rental with no shared spaces or other guests.
The south-facing terrace has unobstructed views over the rooftops of Granada, with the Sierra Nevada on the horizon. The private outdoor pool on the terrace is available exclusively to apartment guests. Both the terrace and pool get full sun through the day.

UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE
The Alhambra is the most visited monument in Spain and needs to be booked well in advance — slots sell out weeks or months ahead. Built by the Nasrid dynasty in the 13th and 14th centuries on a hill above the city, the complex contains the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife gardens, and the Renaissance Palace of Charles V. It is 10 minutes' walk from Terraza 6.
Charming Streets
Granada’s historic neighbourhoods each have a distinct character. The Albaicín is the old Moorish quarter — a UNESCO-listed network of whitewashed lanes above the river Darro. Sacromonte is the traditional Roma quarter, known for cave flamenco. Realejo was the former Jewish quarter. The Barranco del Abogado ravine runs directly below the Alhambra walls.

Spend an afternoon in the ski resort valleys of Sierra Nevada, or drive down to the Costa Tropical for golden beaches at Almuñécar, La Herradura, or Nerja. Closer to the city, charming towns like Güéjar Sierra, Monachil, and Montefrío reward a short drive with beautiful scenery and authentic local life.
Rustic Paradise in the Heart of Andalusia
The Alpujarras is a string of mountain villages on the southern slopes of the Sierra Nevada, between the high peaks and the coast. The villages — Pampaneira, Bubión, Capileira, Trevélez — are built in a distinctive flat-roofed Berber style and were inhabited by Moorish communities until the 17th century. Trevélez at 1,476 metres is Spain's highest village and is known for its cured mountain ham. The round trip from Granada takes around 3 hours.
Golden Shores
Within an hour's drive of Terraza 6, the Costa Tropical coastline offers some of Andalusia's most beautiful beaches. From the lively shores of Almuñécar to the sheltered coves of La Herradura and the charming town of Nerja, a day at the beach makes the perfect counterpoint to exploring the city.
Day Trips
The towns within an hour of Granada offer a lot of variety. Monachil has a dramatic gorge walk with suspension bridges, 10km from the city. Montefrío was included in National Geographic’s list of the world’s best panoramic views. Guadix has around 2,000 inhabited cave houses and a 16th-century cathedral. Güéjar Sierra and Pinos Genil both give easy access to the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Majestic Peaks and Winter Wonderland
The Sierra Nevada is 45 minutes from Granada by car. The ski resort at Pradollano is the southernmost in Europe, with around 110km of pistes and a season that typically runs from December to April. Outside ski season the mountains are excellent for hiking — Mulhacén at 3,479 metres is the highest peak in mainland Spain. The entire massif is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

If you prefer to stay in a quieter part of town where you can get easy and free parking, and get a bit of exercise (to work off purchases from the amazing sweets and chocolate shops in Granada!) then this is perfect."
